In a present-day world that has fallen into a Fantasy Apocalyptic state, humanity faces constant threats from the Nether, supernatural beings from beyond the known dimensions, emerging through the colossal Nebulith Gate.
To protect what remains of humankind, an organization called Sealgate was formed with one purpose: to seal the Gate and end the invasion.
Among Sealgate's frontline forces is Unit 3, led by the fierce commander Selene Duskbane, alongside her team: Karl Everwood, Conel Hawthorn, Lorna Duskbane, and Finn Sterling. Though seasoned in fighting Nether, they have never stepped into the deep zones closest to the Gate, until now.
Their mission: to explore the edges of the White Zone, near the ruins of Revery, an ancient city once ruled by religion and forgotten technology, now completely overtaken by the Nether.
There, they uncover secrets surrounding a mysterious girl, Nova Aetherlock, the last known heir to the bloodline that created the Gate. She alone can unlock the legendary Divine Codex, an ancient device capable of resetting the world, ending the war, and destroying the Gate once and for all.
But Nova is not free, and she is not alone.
A mysterious organization known as AVA is also after her, intending to turn her into a permanent vessel to control the Gate and awaken the dormant god within, Volka Aetherlock.
Both factions are racing to collect the five Soul Fragments, scattered pieces of Volka's power that, if reunited, could bring him back in a divine form.
Amidst deadly encounters and rising betrayals, Karl and his team must choose between belief and truth, between a god that was made and the humans who chose to fight back.
And perhaps Nova isn't who they thought she was after all.
